SPECIALTY TRANSFERS
Transfers including the following are by quotation only.
~ Sparkle inks
~ Glitter inks
~ 25” x 38” transfers over 2000 pcs.
~ 4-colour process
SURCHARGES
~ Transfers quoted on the attached price list include usage of regular Hot Split inks only.
~ Surcharges for specialty inks and processes are as follows:
~ High Opacity ink priced as 2 colours
~ Puff inks priced as 2 colors
~ Sparkle and Glitter inks priced as 2 colours
~ Blends (smears) priced as 2 colours
~ Colour changes (during run) = $20 each (cdn)
~ Colour matching $40
~ Rush Charge - $50.00 under 4 days when possible
~ Under minimum charge - $50.00 (under 50 sheets)
PACKAGING
~ All transfers come cut and wrapped in bundles of 50 or 100
~ Specialty wrapping is available at no extra charge
~ Each package will include the proper pressing instructions for transfers contained within that specific package
ART AND FILM CHARGES
~ Art charges will be billed at $45.00/hour (cdn)
~ Film charges are as stated on the "Art & Film Charges" PDF (cdn)
ART APPROVALS
~ Art approvals are strongly recommended. This process is usually done by email or fax
~ Postal or courier service is available at the customer’s expense
~ We are NOT responsible for any layout or design error when an art approval is not requested.
ART SUGGESTIONS
~ Art work that is considered print ready, for spot colour jobs, are to be sent in a vector format using a Corel Draw (12 or earlier), Adobe Illustrator (10 or earlier) file. These files can be sent as a PDF or a zipped file for email ease. Jpegs can be sent, but a redraw charge will be charged.
~ Files that are considered print ready for 4 colour process jobs, are to be sent in the original bitmapped file (e.g. Photoshop). They must have a resolution of 300 DPIs.
~ Print ready artwork is always best. This is clean, clear black and white artwork. Lines should be a minimum of 1.5 point (sample: THE THICKNESS OF THESE LETTERS) anything less may be lost in printing.
~ Any drawings or photocopies will be adjusted in the art department to make them print ready.
~ Computer artwork is the best for incurring the least amount of art charges if it is provided to our specifications.
~ Colored art should be provided in a vector based format (this is usually eps converted to curves)
(vector based allows you to manipulate the art after it has been saved) also should be saved as spot colors not CMYK (unless you are printing four color process)
~ Bitmap artwork such as TIFF, JPEG are good for one color only, they must be sent as black and white.
~ Remember in a bitmap, the edges are rougher and will print this way. If you require us to change it to the colors or clean up please save it as a TIFF.
~ Please do not write on the original art, when scanned this has to be removed. If you need to indicate the colors do it on a photocopy.
~ Finally we are only PC based, any MAC formats will not work unless saved as a PC based PDF.
PDFs should be created at the "press quality", print quality" or "high quality" setting only.

TEST PRINTS
~ Tests prints (sample runs) are strongly recommended and are available for $50.00 - 100.00/color (cdn)
~ Each test print will include at least 12 prints for your approval prior to full production
~ If changes to the design are required, additional art charges will apply.
PURCHASE ORDERS
~ Printed, faxed or emailed purchase orders are required with each job
~ We will not proceed with your job until we received your purchase order
DELIVERY
~ Each order will be handled on an individual basis
~ You will be assigned a shipping date after final approval is provided in writing by fax or email
~ Due to the variables involved (art approval, test printing, production volume, etc….) we can not provide you with a delivery date “over the phone”
~ Repeat orders will be assigned a delivery date within 48 hours of receipt.
